The goal is to provide participants with the tools to research appropriate and effective strategies to achieve equity and quality in healthcare services, even in disadvantaged contexts; to understand the healthcare and oral health challenges of low-income countries and disadvantaged communities in Italy, as well as the world of international cooperation; to learn the methodology for creating sustainable solidarity and social dentistry projects; to develop the ability to work in partnerships according to cooperation guidelines; to contribute effectively to a field program in its various implementation phases; and to design concrete and appropriate responses to the oral health issues of communities.

In cases where treatments are necessary due to social and socio-economic vulnerabilities, participants will learn to contextualize the type of treatment, focusing on the patient rather than just the pathology.
